The Board view in Teamly is a powerful tool for visualizing your workflow and tracking progress at a glance. Inspired by the kanban-style layout, the Board view is perfect for organizing tasks into columns that represent different stages of your project, such as “To Do,” “In Progress,” and “Completed.”
This article will guide you through the features of the Board View, how to set it up, and tips for using it effectively. If you’re looking for a clear and intuitive way to manage your projects, the Board view is here to help you stay on top of everything with ease!
In the left side panel, locate and click on the "Workflows" tab.
Click on the name of your workflow, as illustrated in the example below where it is named "General."
The current view is indicated in the drop-down menu located at the top right side of the screen. By default, the view displayed is "Board."
On the right side, use the "Filter" option to refine the tasks displayed in a workflow. You can filter by user, due date, status, priority, and labels.
At the top, you’ll find all existing columns along with the option to create new ones.
On the right side, access the “Archived tasks” view to see all archived tasks and columns. This view may vary depending on user types and permissions.
All tasks will be displayed in their respective columns. In this example, the tasks are under the “Upcoming” column. Click on each task to view more details.
Hover over and click the ellipsis menu on the right side of a column to access a list of options, including adding a task, duplicating, moving, renaming, sorting, and archiving.
Hover over and click the ellipsis menu on the right side of a task to access options such as marking it as completed, editing, duplicating, copying the link, and archiving the task.
At the bottom of each column, is the option to "Add a task" to that column.
