Direct messages allow you to communicate privately with other users on the platform, and receive a response in real-time.
Click on the user's name below "Team Chat" in the left side panel or select "Direct messages."
To start a direct message with a user, in the "Direct messages" view click on "New Chat."
Select the user you wish to start the chat with.
Click on "Start chat."
Type a message into the dialog box that reads “Type text here...”
Send the message by pressing "enter/return" or clicking on the blue box in the bottom right.
