Video mode offers high-quality recording for polished content. This mode uses enhanced video processing to capture your screen with greater clarity, color accuracy, and smooth motion. Best suited for creating tutorials, presentations, webinars, or any content intended for publishing or professional use.

Click on your profile icon in the bottom left side panel.

Click on "Settings."

Click on "Capture settings."

⚠️ The "Capture settings" tab is exclusively available in the desktop app, which you can download here.

Navigate to the "Screen" tab.

Select "Video Mode."

Set the "Capture Quality." This setting controls how clear and sharp your video will look. Higher quality means better resolution and more detail, but it can also increase the file size and may require more processing power. For example, use high quality for polished recordings or presentations, and lower quality for quick demos or basic tutorials.

Set the "Capture Rate(FPS)." This setting controls how smooth your video looks. A higher capture rate (like 60 frames per second) results in smoother motion, which is great for demos or animations. A lower rate (like 15–30 fps) uses less storage and works well for simple walkthroughs.

Choose the "Video encoder." The video encoder determines how your video is compressed and saved. We share more insight on the options in our guide here.

Click on "Save."
