Create a Custom Automation

A project, essentially, is a sequence of tasks, and automation eases up on the transition between each of these tasks.

Maybe you’re a manager who doesn't want to tap anyone on the shoulder to remind them of a due date. Rather, automation can do this for you.  

An automation can also function as a handoff. When one step is complete, the next user receives the notification that it’s time to get started.

Click on Workflows in the sidebar.

Make sure the workflow is in the Board view and click Automations.

Click on Create New or Create Automation.

Set the IF Conditions

Set the DO Actions

Toggle the option to create a new automation or apply it to existing tasks. Click Create.
