Using an arrow tool is a simple yet powerful way to enhance your video editing workflow. Whether you’re selecting, moving, or adjusting elements in your project, the arrow tool offers precision and control.

In the video editor click on the arrow tool.

Use the color pallet to choose the arrow's color.

The selected color will be highlighted in white.

Click on "Apply" to set the color of the draw tool.

To add a new color to your favorites click on the color in the color pallet then the "+" icon.

To remove a color from your favorites select it then click on the "x" icon at the top right.

The arrow will be displayed in the selected color.

Adjust the stroke size.

Add a drop shadow if needed.

The arrow segment will appear in the video timeline. Use the ellipsis on either side to extend or reduce its duration. Click and drag the arrow segment within the timeline to reposition it.

Right click on the arrow segment in the timeline to copy, cut and delete it. The keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + V can be used to paste the copied or cut segment.

Alternatively, use the tools right above the timeline to cut, copy, paste and delete it.

Remember to click “Save progress” once you’ve finished making changes.
