Understanding the various types of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) permissions is crucial for efficient team management and collaboration. Permissions for published SOPs are designed to ensure that the right team members have appropriate access to critical information to help maintain productivity.
After creating a new SOP or navigating to an existing one via the “SOPs” tab in the left-side panel, hover over the SOP and select “Share link.”
Three options will be displayed, with the first one being “Public,” which makes the SOP visible to anyone with the link.
The second option is “Private,” which makes the file visible only to you, managers, admins and owners as well as those who the file link is shared with if the SOP is published.
The final option allows you to make the SOP visible to specific departments.
⚠️ Users in the selected departments will see the SOP in the "Add Sticky" tab as well as in the "SOPs" tab in the left side panel.
Click on "Apply" to set the selected SOP permission.
Click on "Copy file link" to share the SOP.
