Creating SOPs

Modified on Mon, Oct 2, 2023 at 9:59 AM

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are detailed instructions that outline the steps and procedures required to perform specific tasks. Teamly lets you create custom SOPs and includes SOP templates to manage your organization's standard operating procedures.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to

  • Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

  • Share SOPs

  • & manage SOPs

In the left side panel, locate and click on the "SOPs" tab.

At the top right you’ll see the option to create sop and if you have not created any SOPs yet you’ll see the option to create a new sop.

This will bring you to the create standard operating procedure view. Give your SOP a title.

Select a category. The category that you select will present you with pre-made templates that you can view and select to use.

Alternatively, you can use the blank SOP option to create a new sop from scratch.

In this case, we’ll use the customer service training SOP.

Configure your text, alignments, add links, images, recording or add a table.

Once you’re done configuring your SOP click on "Save file" at the top right side. This will prompt a message indicating that your SOP has been successfully created.

When you’re ready to share your sop, toggle the "Publish" toggle.

On the left hand side when you click on "Back" you’ll see the newly created SOP in Teamly. You’ll see the name of the sop, the current status whether it is published or unpublished, the date and timestamp of when it was created, the type and who it was created by.
