Granting user permissions in Teamly is easy. The platform offers four distinct user types, each with varying levels of access to workspaces and projects.
Workspace Owner
- Full access at the workspace level
- Owns the workspace and can mange all settings
- Can delete/transfer a workspace
- Can upgrade an account
- Can view and modify billing and plan information
Workspace Administrator
- Admin at the workspace level
- Has the same access as an owner but will not be able to change billing information
- Does not own the workspace
Project Manager
- Admin at the project level
- Can manage all configurations, tasks and files at the project level
User
- Manage personal account
- Add/remove their own tasks/files
Owners and administrators can easily manage user types by navigating to the Settings gear located on the bottom left corner of the dashboard.
Owners, administrators and managers have the ability to manage teams for projects they're associated with. Simply click on the + icon next to Team Chat to start a new chat or invite users.
