How do I set up a multi-user account?
IMPORTANT: If you opened your Teamly account prior to February 4th 2011 please see this blog post for details of what has changed.
Any Teamly user can connect with colleagues inside the same company or make one-to-one connections with anyone else outside your company. Simply click on Users, then "Invite a new user". Users will automatically join your company account as long as they share the same email domain as you. e.g. john.smith@mycompany.com
Teamly supports multiple hierarchical levels, so you can replicate the structure of your company, or keep it flat; the choice is yours.
On the Team page you will see everyone that you are connected to. This is not necessarily everyone in your company.
The right hand navigation column shows the following:

Myself - just click this at any time to go back to your dashboard
All Recent - click this to see a feed of the most recent activity from your colleagues
MY MANAGER
This is only visible if you have selected someone as your
manager, on the Settings page. Please note, your manager will
always see your Priorities, regardless of your
general privacy settings shown on the Settings page. However, your
manager does not see any individual priorities you
have made by private by clicking the padlock symbol.
MY COLLEAGUES: People who share the same manager as you
These are people at the same level as you are, or in the same department as you. If you don't see any colleagues listed it means you, or your colleagues need to visit the Settings page and choose the same manager. If you don't want to share your Priorities with your colleagues then you can untick the share with "my colleagues" box on the Settings page.
MY TEAM: People who list you as their manager
These people are those who report to you. If you are a manager and don't want to share your Priorities with your team then you can untick the share with "my team" box on the Settings page.
Don't want to make your structure hierarchical?
If you want to keep your company structure flat either make sure no one has selected a manager on the Settings page, or that everyone has chosen the same manager. If everyone in the company shares the same manager then everyone in the company will be listed in the My Colleagues section of the Team view. If not, then everyone will appear in the My Company section.
How to view Priorities of someone else in another team?
It is not possible to view Priorities of people in other teams
from the Team page. To do this click on Users, and select the
person from the list. You can only view their Priorities if they
have enabled share with "everyone in my company" on the Settings
page.
