Hi Scott, on April 27th you replied to Bob Bradley on this issue:

"Hi Bob

Yes, you are correct. At the moment you can only have five marked new started or complete. It's possible to abandon one and set another, it's also possible to add extra ones if all 5 are marked as complete.

Regards
Scott"

I would contend that this makes the system overly restrictive in that, specifically for longer-range periods like Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly, we should be able to refill that period with priorities up to the 5 priority limit if we complete or abandon ANY priorities not ALL priorities for the period.

For example, if I complete 1 of my 5 priorities for the week or month, and I decide that I have the time to handle another priority for that time period, I should be able to do that, rather than having to complete or abandon ALL my original 5 priorities before being able to add others to the list. Is this the way the system works or am I missing something? I certainly can't add another priority if I have 4 new or started priorities, and one completed or abandoned priority.

Would you be prepared to review this limitation as this is an issue for me and the nature of my work? LOVE the system and totally on board with the top 5 limit, but I think this is making it a bit too restrictive.

Keep up the great work.

David

    Hi David

Just to clarify: you can abandon one and replace with one, and there is no limit as to how many times you do this. What you can't do is ever have more than 5 new/started/completed.

I understand your points though and want to reassure you that we are looking to make this more flexible; it's not going to change immediately, but we have a whole host of small improvements and tweaks planned.
